B. |
Time Outs |
| |

1. |
There
will be three time outs allowed per team per half consisting of 60
seconds each. The timekeeper will sound the end of the time out at 45
seconds and the referee will allow an additional 15 seconds for the
teams to get back on the floor. |

2. |
Time
outs do not accumulate from the first half to the second half. |
| |
|
3. |
Either
team can call a time out when the ball is dead. |
| |
|
4. |
When
the ball is in play, only the team with possession can call time out. |
| |
|
5. |
Substitutions are not to be used as a time out period. Get players on
and off the court quikly. The clock does not stop during this period. |
| |
|
6. |
In the event of an overtime, each team shall receive one time
out. Time outs may not be carried over from the game situation. |
| |
C. |
Overtime |
| |
|
1. |
In the
event of an overtime, the coach may play any five players he chooses
as long as they are still eligible. |
| |
|
2. |
If the
game goes into overtime, all foul shots will be shot unless there are
less than seven team fouls from the previous half. |
| |
|
3. |
The
overtime will consist of 3 minutes (running time). The clock will
stop only for foul shots and time outs and in the last minute on all
infractions. |

|
4. |
In case
of a second overtime, the first team to score two points wins the
game. (The two points do not have to be consecutive). |
| |
D. |
Zone Defense |
| |
|
1. |
Zone
defenses are STRICTLY ILLEGAL. A strict player defense must be used
with the following exceptions: |

|
|
a. |
When an
offensive player is driving to the basket with the ball, he or she may
be doubled or triple teamed once he or she is within 12 feet of the
basket. It will be the sole discretion of the officials as to whether
a zone is being used. A warning will be issued for the first
violation. This warning applies for the entire game. A technical foul
will be issued for every violation committed after the first warning
(Penalty: automatic one point with retaining possession of the ball). |

b. |
On-the-ball switching is allowed. Off-the-ball switching is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. |

E. |
Over and Back Rule |
| |
|
1. |
The
over and back is in effect at all age levels. |
| |
F. |
Fouls |
| |
|
1. |
After a
team has committed six personal fouls in any half, the seventh team
foul shall be a 1 + 1 situation, except shooting fouls and intentional
fouls which are already two shot fouls. |

2. |
NO free
throws are awarded for offensive fouls, but count against individual
players and as team fouls. |
| |
|
3. |
Flagrant fouls will be automatic points PLUS possession of the ball.
In addition, the player who committed the foul will be automatically
ejected from the current game AND will be required to miss the next
scheduled game. |
